Raised in Brooklyn New York, Michele sang in her elementary school and junior high choirs. She also performed in the hallways of her Flatbush Brooklyn neighborhood - singing and dancing with friends for their parents and other children. After seeing the movie Fame, she became determined to get into the High School of Music and Art. Receiving the acceptance letter as a voice major was an unbelievable joy. Michele caught the acting bug as a freshman at Sarah Lawrence College after auditioning for Song Class and entering the Workshop Theatre. It was a fabulous ride that ignited her love of all things theater. A couple of years after college Michele took a lengthy hiatus from the biz to focus on raising her newborn daughter. In 2015 she returned to doing this thing that kept calling at her and is so glad she finally listened.

Michele has always written poems, songs and short stories. She also completed a novel many years ago. In July 2017 she wrote her first short film "Getting Over", which she produced, directed and starred in. Getting Over has become an award winning film on the festival circuit, and is now available on AMAZON PRIME. Michele has received several nominations for Best First Time Director, and has also won several Best Actress awards. In 2018 she also wrote, directed, produced and starred in Acceptables, which has also gone on to become a multi-award winner on the festival circuit.
